We love nothing more than to see kids playing games of football…and now kids aged 6yo-13yo can play ad-hoc @ The Football Centre on ANY Saturday

If you aren’t already familiar with the The Football Centre games are played indoor on our synthetic grass pitch. This isn’t Futsal. We bring outdoor football indoors where it can be player protected from the elements.

​

Small sided games involve lots of touches and fast transition. Players must think fast and work hard for the whole game.

​

Results sometimes feel important when we are watching our kids but the only result that matters for these age groups is that they are happy and challenged

​

Enter a team?

 

Teams joining for regular games will initially play against all the teams in their age group.

 

Based upon their results they will either continue to play against those teams in their own age group, play younger teams dominating in their age group, or older teams that have been struggling. 

 

Fixtures are worked out on a week-by-week basis with results continuously reviewed to ensure competitive match-ups.

 

Teams playing outside of their age group will never move more than 1-year group per week with changes always in consultation with the team coach.

 

Teams are welcome to join at any time. Current (approximate) game times for age groups are below:

• NOW SUNDAY 9:15am    U6s  

• 8:30am - 10:00am            U7s

• 10:30am - 1pm                    U8s/U9s

• 1pm - 4:00pm                     U11/U13s

 

Play as an individual player

​

Each week fixtures will be organised for individual players wishing to play in a game.

 

Individuals can play regularly or on an ad hoc basis. 

​

Individuals are coordinated through age based the WhatsApp groups - please email ange@footballcentre.com.au with your child's name, age and the phone number you wish to have added.​

​

Costs​

​

As the outdoor season winds down, The Football Centre is entering peak time for games. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we now require require the Saturday game fees ($72) to be paid in full before KO.

​​

Additionally, although game participation will continue to be ad hoc, we now require teams to pay one week in advance (essentially a 1-game bond). 

​

Please Note:

​

• Fixtures will be published on Wednesday evenings

• Teams will have until Thursday 12pm to advise if they are unavailable

• Teams notifying us after Thursday 12pm that they are unavailable will forfeit their bond

​

While it is with regret that we have to add this policy, the impact of re-jigging fixtures at the 11th hour on both ourselves and the other teams means that we need to insist on this minimum level of commitment. ​

The cost for an individual players is $15 per game

 

Recording of game / YouTube Highlights

By registering for our competitions you acknowledge that all games played @ The Football Centre may be recorded with highlights uploaded to our YouTube Channel

 

Highlights may be posted to social media but no participant will be identified without prior consent

 

Full games can be made available to team managers on request
